weekend project: Wood and Neon Necklace DIY

I found the idea for this project here, I decided to make two necklaces to go together, had a little more variation in how I threaded the beads, and I just used embroidery floss for the string.
For this project you will need:
* Embroidery floss in your desired colors (ranging from .50 to $1)
* Unfinished wood beads, I used 3/4" ( about $2 for 27 pieces)
*Scissors

 Shane and I just returned last night from our adventure out west! We had a blast and saw so many amazing things! I can't wait to share the pictures, so stay tuned.  For now here are some pics that I took from the plane.  Clouds always amaze me and I  love images and paintings of them.

 My sister and I recently baked cupcakes to take to a cupcake decorating party at my friends Robyn's house.  Robyn sells thirty-one bags and is mom to the happiest baby I have ever met.

stand up paddle.

Over the labor day weekend we decided to give stand up paddle boarding a try! We loved it and are already excited to go again!  We really loaded everyone up for this adventure, Shane and I, my parents and siblings, and my 79 year old grandfather! I can only hope I am as active as he is when I am his age.Truly impressive. We boarded on Lake Blue Ridge in North GA, the weather was threatening all day- but it ended up being perfect, and waited to pour down rain until we were all safely to shore!
